3 X CARE WORKERS ? SOUTH DUBLIN HOME CARE SERVICES

the person with dementia and their carer at its core.
The ASI is currently recruiting for 3 Care Workers who will work in
our South Dublin Home Care service. The successful candidates will
work in assigned family homes across South Dublin with offices based
in Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6W.
These are permanent contracts of employment working **Apply on the
website** hours each per week. Hours for this role will be allocated
in blocks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person
centred care to people with dementia in the client?s own home. You
will need good communication and organizational skills and be able to
work on your own initiative.
To be successful in this position it is essential you possess previous
experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activates
with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual
disabilities.
Candidates in this area must have a full clean driving license and
access to a car to be considered for this role.
A FETAC level 5 is desirable. Confidence in using IT/Email is also
desirable.
We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care
sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
The role holder must strictly adhere to all National Guidelines laid
out in QSPD guidance and be always COVID aware. Training in PPE /
Infection Control and other relevant areas will be provided by The ASI
prior to the role holder entering a client?s home.
